How the writing on Wellness With Purpose gets made, what it will never do, and what happens when I get something wrong.
Who writes here
I do, all of it, under my own name. Nothing on this site is bought from a content mill, and there is no byline here belonging to a person who does not exist. If that ever changes it will be said on this page first.
This is not health content
The domain says wellness, so the boundary needs saying plainly. I hold no clinical qualification of any kind. Nothing here diagnoses anything, treats anything, or tells you what to put in your body. There are no dosages on this site, no calorie or macro targets presented as a plan, no protocols, and no claims that any practice will produce any physical result. Where a piece touches an area that belongs to a clinician, it says so and stops.
Motive first, method second
Every piece starts from a reason rather than a routine, and most of them do the arithmetic on what that reason costs in time, attention or money. That is the whole editorial line. A piece that could be retitled as a protocol has drifted and gets rewritten.
What is deliberately absent
No scores, no ratings, no best of anything. No invented product cards. No cited research, because summarising studies I am not trained to read is how wellness writing goes wrong, and a plausible sounding citation is worse than none. No before and after photographs. No prices quoted as fact, because they move.
Where confidence comes from
From having done the thing and having counted what it took. If a piece rests on a few weeks it says so. If it rests on something I kept for years, it says that instead, because the two are not the same kind of evidence and should not read the same. What I am describing is one person’s experience and it is never presented as what will happen to you.
Money and independence
Some links earn a commission, set out in full in the affiliate disclosure. No company reads a piece before it goes up, no company pays for coverage or for a conclusion, and a commission has never decided whether something gets mentioned. Several of the pieces here talk me out of things that would have paid.
Updates and corrections
Every page shows when it was last updated. A revision of substance carries a note about what changed rather than being made silently, because a reader who acted on the old version deserves to know it moved. I have changed my mind in public on this site more than once and those reversals stay up with their original dates.
